Another star is born as Pacific Regency Hotel Suites (PRHS) receives its official five-star accreditation for Hotel Apartments. Joining the likes of The Ascott, the accreditation not only cements the hotel's promise of world class accommodation to guests, but also reinforces its standing at the forefront of the Malaysian hospitality industry.

Pacific Regency received the rating after a stringent 10-month audit by Tourism Malaysia Star Rating committee, the official accrediting body for hotels and hotel apartments in Malaysia. The process involved a detailed look at every aspect of the hotel's operations – from customer service to management, from F&B to the quality of sheets used in guestrooms.

Since the hotel's re-branding in 2006, PRHS has been making waves, bagging 5 major hospitality awards in its short history and being the first hotel in the city to receive ISO Certification.
